海运市场上有这些角色：
货主/发货人/收货人/进出口公司/货代
船公司/二船东/船舶管理公司/海事服务公司/船代
一个是货方一个是船方。船务公司/shipping company是船方公司，其中含有原船东/二船东或者租船公司/chartering company。货代属于货方公司。
船务公司和货代公司有大有小。如果放在大一点的物流集团公司里，有船务部门和货代部门，同时，这样的船务部门其实是偏向于货方，也就是替货方租船/chartering的。还有另外的船东集团公司，船务部门是负责公司船舶正常运营或者做经纪人/broker为其他公司船舶配货，通常船东公司没有货代部门，除非这家船东公司做的是常年的班轮航线，那么在装卸港可能会有自己的货代公司。
船舶买卖经纪人、租船经纪人和海上货运代理人的异同
班轮运输 （liner transport）
船舶沿固定的航线，经固定的港口，按事先公布的固定船期运输货物，按事先公布的费率收取运费的船舶运输方式。货物由承运人负责配载装卸，运价中已经包含货物的装卸费用，承运人和托运人双方不计滞期费和速遣费。由于定时、定线、定港、定价，所以班轮运输的不确定性相对小。为了保证船期，班轮的船舶一般设备齐全，船况较好。在班轮停靠的码头都有班轮公司自己的专用码头，货运质量有保证。货物一般为小额贸易货物，现在多为集装箱作为运输单元，提单是主要的运输单证。
租船运输 （shipping by chartering）
租船运输又称不定期船运输，没有预定的船期表、航线、港口，船舶按租船人和船东双方签订的租船合同规定的条款完成运输服务。根据协议，船东将船舶出租给租船人使用，完成特定的货运任务，并按商定运价收取运费。用租船运输的货物主要是低价值的大宗货物，例如煤炭、矿砂、粮食、化肥、水泥、木材、石油等。一般都是整船装运，运量大，租船运输的运量占全部海上货运量的80%左右。运价比较低，并且运价随市场行情的变化波动。租船方式主要有航次租船、定期租船和光船租船三种：
航次租船（voyage charter）
航次租船又称为定程租船，是以航程为基础的租船方式。在这种租船方式下，船方必须按租船合同规定的航程完成货物运输服务，并负责船舶的经营管理以及船舶在航行中的一切开支费用，租船人按约定支付运费。航次租船的合同中规定装卸期限或装卸率，并计算滞期和速遣费。航次租船又可以分为单程租船、往返租船、连续航次租船、航次期租船、包运合同租船几种：
单程租船（single voyage charter）
单程租船也称为单航次租船，即所租船舶只装运一个航次，航程终了时租船合同即告终止。运费按租船市场行情由双方议定，其计算方法一般是按运费率乘以装货或卸货数量或按照整船包干运费计算。
往返租船（round trip charter）
往返租船也称为来回航次租船，即租船合同规定在完成一个航次任务后接着再装运一个回程货载，有时按来回货物不同分别计算运费。
连续航次租船（consecutive trip charter）
即在同样的航线上连续装运几个航次。往往货运量较大，一个航次运不完的时候，可以用这样的租船方式，这种情况下，平均航次船舶租金要比单航次租金低。
航次期租船（trip charter on time basis）
航次期租船也称为期租航次租船，船舶的租赁用航次租船方式，但租金以航次所需的时间（天）为计算标准。这种租船方式不计滞期、速遣费用，船方不负责货物运输的经营管理。
包运合同租船（contract of affreightment）
船东在约定的期限内，派若干条船，按照同样的租船条件，将一大批货物由一个港口运到另一个港口，航程次数不作具体规定，合同针对待运的货物。这种租船方式可以减轻租船压力，对船东来说，营运上比较灵活，可以用自有船舶来承运，也可以再租用其它的船舶来完成规定的货运任务；可以用一条船多次往返运输，也可以用几条船同时运输。包运合同运输的货物通常是大宗低价值散货。
定期租船（time charter）
定期租船简称期租，是指以租赁期限为基础的租船方式。在租期内，租船人按约定支付租金以取得船舶的使用权，同时负责船舶的调度和经营管理。期租租金一般规定以船舶的每载重吨每月若干金额计算。租期可以长可以短，短时几个月，长则可以达到5年以上，甚至直到船舶报废为止。期租的对象是整船，不规定船舶的航线和挂靠港口，只规定航行区域范围，因此租船人可以根据货运需要选择航线、挂靠港口，便于船舶的使用和营运。期租对船舶装运的货物也不作具体规定，可以选装任何适运的货物；租船人有船舶调度权并负责船舶的营运，支付船用燃料、各项港口费用、捐税、货物装卸等费用。不规定滞期速谴条款。
光船租船（bare boat charter）
光船租船也是一种期租船，不同的是船东不提供船员，只把一条空船交给租方使用，由租方自行配备船员，负责船舶的经营管理和航行各项事宜。对船东来说，一般不放心把船交给租船人支配；对租船方来说，雇佣和管理船员工作很复杂，租船人也很少用这种方式。因此，光船租船形式在租船市场上很少用。

prefer的用法需要分语境判断。
1、在没有说明不喜欢的行为的场合时，且只说一次的事用prefer to do的表达方式更普遍。但是说经常的事时，人们习惯用动名词。
2、prefer后可接宾语和不定式。
3、prefer后可接that从句，从句用should或虚拟现在时。
4、prefer后还可接宾语和表语。
5、prefer的形容词形式preferable指“更好的，更合意的”。它同prefer A to B的句型一样，后也常与介词to连用。
